I am fighting my body - I have been at a plateau for months - the scale moves up 2 and down 1. I have seen doctors (thyroid?) nutritionists dietecians & fitness consultants and I am still the "same". I have met a man who is not only a personal trainer (and has the body to prove it!) but operates a nutrition service or pre-planned meals with the correct carbs, protein & fat as well as portion control. I though that after all else has failed I would try his plan. I started on Monday of this week and will re-weigh myself this Sunday. In addition to his meal plans I am working out with a trainer - to learn how to properly do strength training without injury. Since I do not (thank God!) have any medical issues (thyroid) I am told that from years of yo-yo dieting & starving myself my metabolism is wacky! This meal plan is hopefully gonna correct this. I will let you know how it is going! Oh - I am also told that my age and pre-menopause are NOT a factor in my plateau?

    We could be twins, in may ways!
    Except I've only lost 25 lbs (1/2 way to goal) and have been on a SEVEN month plateau.
    I have tried eating more, calorie cycling, more ST, blah, blah...
    My thyroid is fine but I may have another health issue (testing).
    I'm curious how your new meal plan is working for you.
