Spinning class was a KILLER! Man alive. The sad thing is, I dont think ill be back. Its not something I see myself keeping up for a few reasons. One, it hurt my knee to do the bike with any resistance. I pushed myself for the class but its just not something I see being able to do..i really dont want a knee injury. Two, that class is FULL. If you do not get there AT LEAST a half hour early, you wont get in and they all have been going to the class forever so when i walked in (30 minutes early) the only bike they had left was one with the pedal strap broken..which was fine because i wasnt going to strap my foot in but you get the idea. So, I'm glad I went but I dont think ill be back. Its all good, there is another gym 15 minutes away (the one i go to after work) and they have a step class that I may end up doing! I really do want to up my cardio and I think the best way to do that on top of my running schedule is to do the group exercise classes. This week I am going to attempt step, turbo kickboxing, and HOT HULA! (i can only imagine what this class will be). I'm exciting to try these new things!
Last night our family dinner was canceled because we didnt want our 80 yr old grandparents to have to drive in the rain..they live about an hour away and it would be dark AND raining so it ended up just not working out. So i was bored at home which caused me to eat and eat which wasnt good but i didnt do as bad as i would have done in the past AND im definitely not going to beat myself up about it! Instead I got my butt up to class, came home made my deliciously nutritious smoothie and am planning to eat a good healthy lunch! I am feeling SO good and SO motivated..especially in the exercise department. Hopefully I will see a loss in the scale this week I'm ready for it to be moving downward again!
