sigh...hmmm maybe another visual motivator?

Well,

I have just not been in the mood lately for exercising. I have been stressed at work (I bet my stress would go down if I exercised, huh?) and just haven't felt up to it lately. I had and still have a goal, but it seems that I am not reaching toward it hard enough. I think part of me said that "well, I'm not as bad as ___ or ____, so I should be fine. It's not really a big deal anyways". But it is a big deal.
My goal...for those of you who may not have the inside scoop, is to try to become pregnant in July-ish. I want to be a heathier wieght when we do that, not only because it would make the bow-chicka-wow-ow (or as he calls it, brown chicken, brown cow - play on words) way funner IMO, but it would also make the pregnancy better and decrease the chance that I would have to take medications, and increase my chances of delivering naturally.
So...what I am going to do is place a few baby items right above the tv. Now I haven't told Joe about it, but I am sure he will LOVE having a diaper strung right there in the living room where everyone can see it ;)!
I will probably post a picture of myself as a baby(since I have one that I just had printed at costco for a game at a baby shower this weekend) and a baby outfit...and a cute decoration I want to hang in the baby room....or maybe a baby announcement?

ANY IDEAS?

I think maybe that hanging that in the living room, right above the tv (which is where most of my exericse happens with dvd's or my wii fit/ea sports active), will make me go a little bit longer. AND stop me from just watching tv and being a lazy person sometimes...

REALLY, any ideas would be appreciated!!!

    Wow, maybe we should try to motivate each other. You haven't been in the mood for exercising. Lately, I've had lots of energy for exercising and absolutely will to cook or eat healthy food. I've been eating horribly. Well, maybe not horribly, but definitely poorly. Seems like I can never hit both in the same week. I either eat well or exercise well. Not both. Oh well.

    Anyway, I think that your idea for visual motivation is a great idea. Of course baby things are going to be a great motivation for you. For me? Hmmm ... I have curly red hair (my best feature!) so pictures of redheaded movie stars and models sometimes motivate me. Someday (hopefully before I go gray) I'd like the rest of me to look as pretty as my hair does. Does that make any sense? Perhaps that's another things that a man wouldn't get but a woman would (see my comment on your next blog.)

    Anyway, take care and thanks for making me think about visual motivation.
