It's March already

Wow...didn't we just ring in the new year? Yep, 2 months ago. Not much change to report. No success at goals for either January or February. So why should March be any different. It won't be if I don't change my ATTITUDE . If I don't change how I see myself. If I don't change what I BELIEVE about myself. I don't change what I think I DESERVE. Stink'n think'n breeds stink'n results.
So day 1 of March...
Goal 6 lbs - 1.5 lbs per wk
1) stay within calorie range.
I plan to do this by planning my meals the day before. Packing my lunch. Measuring everything! My idea of portion size is wayyyyyyyy off.
2) exercise 30 min per day
I plan to do this by going in early and so I can walk at the beginnin go my lunch. I'm also taking 2 water classes on Monday (90 minutes) and 1 water class on Wednesday (45minutes). I have set Tuesday pm aside for a 3 mile walk and Saturday aside for longer walks. I'm walking a 7K on March 13th.
3) 8+ glasses of water per day
I plan to do this by placing a bottle of frozen water on the nightstand before I go to bed. In the morning I will begin the day by drinking the bottle of water. I'll keep a glass of ice water at my desk to drink. I can set my cell phone alarm to remind me every 2 hours to refresh my glass of ice water. If it's not empty, I'll have to drink it so I can refill it.
I know there are other things I need to do. 1 is lift weights. With a gym membership you would think that would be a no brainer but it's not. I even have a set of 5lb and 8lb dumbbells at home. But these 3 are a start. I've learned that a gungho attitude only produces disappointment and failure for me. It might work for someone else but not me. So this is my plan for March.
