Meal Replacement Shakes

I had a meal replacement shake after my workout yesterday – it was basically my lunch. I’ve had a few in the past two weeks but this was the one with the highest amount of protein – 50g. I never got hungry for dinner. All I wanted was a snack. I had a little bit of hummus.
I went to lunch today with family, and was only able to eat half of my soup and salad. I was pretty full. It was weird, but I’m happy with it.
My trainer had recommended meal replacement shakes to me. I tried four different brands with varying amounts of protein. The ones with the least tasted the best, lol. He said I should buy the brand Herbalife, but I had already bought the individual packets of other brands. I plan to buy Herbalife once I get paid.
Have any of you tried meal replacement shakes before? I like that they have so much protein. I seem to have a hard time fitting enough protein into my diet.
