Cooking Update

Wednesday, February 17, 2010

The stir-fry ended up lasting for 7 servings. That means it really wasn’t as expensive to buy all the ingredients as I’d imagined, especially when I remember that I still have a big jar of sesame seeds, half a bag of brown rice, and some sesame oil left. Maybe cooking is worth it. Wow, this is a shocking revelation. Lol.

Cooking isn’t always useful to me though because there are only two people in my household, and we’re both picky in weird ways. For example, he didn’t want garlic or onions in his part of the stir-fry so I had to cook them in 2 separate pans. I think it would be beneficial to cook one meal a week on the weekends though.

I finally posted a photo of the leftovers. You can also see my work notebook next to it. Enjoy!
