I wish I was a writer

I admire all you folks that are great Bloggers. I find it extremely hard to express myself in words. One of my unwritten goals is to write a Blog. So here goes...

As I read Chapter 7 I realized I have many of these healthy diet habits already. They were not naturally occurring, no, I have been visiting the Sparkpeople web site for several months now. I may not have been tracking my food but I have been making subtle changes in my families diet. We are eating more whole grains, drinking water instead of pop, and eating salad with every dinner.

Small successes do build on each other. ..

In January, I joined the boot camp challenge and started exercising regularly, tracking my nutrition, and drinking 8 glasses of water. In February I started the Spark book challenge. When I read chapter 6, I got serious about my goals. I not only wrote them down and shared them, I also made a wonderful collage to remind me every morning where I what to go.

Now after reading Chapter 7, I am trying to add more fruits and veggies to my families meals. and turn out the lights by 10-11 pm. to get my 7-8 hours of sleep.

I have also written my first Blog.
