The points I am most proud of
Thursday, February 04, 2010
As I have confessed, I am an obsessed point collector. I start my day six a clock by logging in to spark people and collect whatever points I can, then I sum up the day at night and add the rest than is possible.
But after five months with Spark People I am not that excited about the amounts of points anymore. When I have lots to do I go for the actions that I think are most important. So today I am going by train to Stockholm and I really have no time for this - but still I have collected the points I am most proud of - and thats the points that stems from communication. To write on message board, to huddle in teams and to comment other members blogs - these have become the points are most important to me. Nowadays I even comment on blogs that I don´t have to because I´ve already gotten my points for it, and I write more than five messages on message boards (well, I do get points for that in the long run as I get for every 100 message I have written.
If you have read my blog for a while you have probably noticed that I come back to this point thing over and over. It´s just that I am so impressed and delighted that an action that is part egoistic - to get points (useless, but who cares?) - helps to build habits that are contributuional to the good powers...
Thanks for reading.
