January 26th -- down 5.4 pounds and 3 inches since Bootcamp start 01-04-10. I am weighing myself every Friday and measuring 2 times a month. Next measure day is this Friday.
I am so proud of myself for NOT losing steam or my motivation. Seeing the pounds and inches come off is a GREAT motivator! I know it is not going to come off by summer but I want to be well on my way to my goal of losing 100 pounds in a year. I have to lose more than 5 pounds a month tho or I am not going to make it! LOL.
I have been doing a mix of FitTv workouts and mostly Walk Away The Pounds! It's been too cold here to do any type of exercise outside. We went to Target over the weekend and I was able to find the resistance bands that Leslie uses in her workouts. LET me tell you something .... adding those bands really steps up the intensity of the workouts! I was using hand weights when they used the bands because I didn't have any. But last night was the first time I had used the bands and boy did I break out in a sweat!!
I know I am going to have to step up the amount of time I am exercising but I didn't want to overdue it and burn myself out ... which has happened in the past. Too much too soon and I won't keep up with it.
I can't wait until the weather breaks and I can't get my bike out and do some serious peddling! Jules bought me a wire basket that has a liner in it .... I have plans to put Derby in it. We shall see. Not sure if she will stay in it or not but we are going to try it. My sister suggested the pull behind cart .... that is a bit extreme. LOL. People are going to laugh enough as it is with a Big Momma and a Shih Tzu riding a bike together. Never fear ... there will be pictures!
