Wii EA sports active members starting1/11! POST HERE!!!

Here is a blog where we can post back and forth about our workouts on Wii EA sports active. Doesn't matter if you are on easy or medium...and you didn't have to start on exactly the same day, but it's similar so we can keep each other motivated.

    Thanks - glad you're feeling better!

    I just passed the halfway point on the Wii Active 30-Day challenge - and they have increased the intensity and added some new stuff - YAY!

    I found that my calorie burning was starting to really go down last week and increased my difficulty setting - so now it's really interesting!

    Also I figured out how to turn off the trainer feedback. :)

    Weekends are so hard for me.We always have so much going on. I have not done Wii Active this weekend. I did snowmobile hard both days and took a free day yesterday. I will get back on wii today.

    Did workout #5 today. I think these workouts are getting easier;) I am supposed to have a rest day tomorrow, but I think that I will still workout and have a rest day on Wednesday. How is everyone doing??

    Good job for switching it up to high intensity Christie! I just did exercise 4 and it was no the funnest ;). I have noticed that I am feeling better though during the workout.

    I changed to high intensity and love it. I can really feel the workout when Im done. It was 29 mins long and I burned 150 cals. I did day 4 yesterday and today is a rest day. I will excersize in some way though :)

    I missed yesterday after having a rest daythe day before. I came back a little stronger today. Anyone has suggestions on any exercises to do on the rest days.

    Day 3 wasn't so bad, but unfortunately it sounds like day 4 will be hard. Keep it up guys. Not to far to go, we can make it all the way.

    I am sooooo glad for this rest day. I still have two different exercise classes that have kept me going, but goodness...the game was brutal to me yesterday. ;) I am sore!

    I had a rest day today, but i did do about 15 mins of 30 day shred. I did the abs portion cause I have not done that in a while.

    Stormdore - Don't give up, just yell at the trainer, she/he can't hit you back ;)
    I have had technical issues with mine as well. I try to get through all I can, but if NOTHING registers, just skip the exercise so that you don't lose the whole workout.

    Completed day 2. Goodness, I don't like all those leg exercises we have to do ;)
    Very happy that I have a rest day tomorrow (well from the game, not from my other exercise classes) I am so proud of you that are sticking with it, I am dure that we will see great rewards!

    I am enjoying my rest day today and excited for tomorrow. I really need today off because my legs are sore. I am glad to know that I am doing something right because others have mentioned that their legs are sore as well.

    Christie73 - I am not sure if it counts, but I don't think so. I havemade two of my own workouts and it said I still had my required number to go. Try posting on the board though, maybe there are persons more technical than me who have figured it out.

    Stormdore , sorry you had a bad workout. BUT dont give up. My first time i was confused on some of the moves and it wouldnt register, it was really frustrating but i kept at it.
    I did day 2 today. Alot of leg work and my legs are sore ! I hope that they have some ab workouts too. Yesterday and today seemed to be all about the legs and some arms.
    JeniLaura, if you make your own workout does that count on your 30 day challenge ?

    Hey, JeniLaura - I'm on day 2 and am FRUSTRATED! It wouldn't recognize my remote toward the middle of the workout. Changed batteries, dropped the resistance band, etc. Nothing worked. After 28 min, had to abandon the workout. I felt like strangling the trainer!!! And of course, my workout didn't register. UGH!!! Oh, well... hopefully workout 3 will get better.

    OK - I did day one and a small workout with the sports on the custom workouts (I took out lunges and squats and just did the sports and running). It felt good, but I am sore, and I could not get the inline skating to work for me whatsoever, it would never register me jumping - so my trainer basically told me that I would need to work on that and get better at it...ha! Computer trainers...they're so silly.

    I am SO glad to hear that others were able to complete their workout today as well. 19 more workouts to go!

    Christie73 - I think that you can do either intensity, some people need to start slower and then build up to more. Others can just jump right in - good for you!

    I am on Day 2 of the 30 day challenge. I have the low intensity and boys do my legs feel the workout. My rest day is tomorrow and I hope to complete this challenge. I hope I do not get side tracked on my rest days.

    I did my first day today. For day one I liked it. I did the med. intensity. Are we suppose to start on low and do that for 30 days then move up to med and do it for 30 days etc ... ?

    I do the EA Active 5 days a week on my work days. On my off days I do about an hour of the Wii Fit Plus games. Some of those are worse then the personal trainer! I plan on completing the EA Active as high as it goes
    before I move on to version 2.
