Chapter 8 Lifestyle Change

I have had this change since the first week of August of last year. I have not missed a day of doing my intake charts, exercise charts and the Sparkpoints page. It has become a way of life for me and I have learned and enjoyed it.

I am trying to think of a reward when I reach my goal weight. I just reached the half way point with losing 54 pounds. It is kind of hard because I am not in the habit of doing for myself. I like how this site rewards me for all I do. It is easy this way. But I think it is time for me to figure out for myself what I want and can do for myself within my restrictions. I am on a limited budget so it has to be something I can afford somehow. I am glad there were examples in the book for rewards this helped me to brainstorm Plus I called my best friend and shared this reward idea with her. I have awhile to think about this, I am hoping I get there by this August, it will be 100 pounds in a year.

This lifestyle change is a constant challenge for me I have always had to deal with being overweight. So I am still scared I will not succeed, but I do have this site now and I did not have it before, and I have made it so far, Lord willing I will make it to my long term goal, by constantly looking at the small goals along the way and making them. emoticon emoticon

    You might think about a nice massage when you reach your final goal. Perhaps there's a school nearby that won't charge a lot of money. The shcool in my area only charges $25.00 for the student to practice on you. This is what I have in mind when I reach my final goal. Good luck on your journey. emoticon

    I think you should reward yourself for getting to the halfway point! Losing 54lbs is extraordinary and you should feel very proud! Look at all of your accomplishments and throw the fear away! You WILL make it to your long term goal!!
