Bootcamp Day 1

Sunday, January 03, 2010

Bought a new scale today. The one I have been using is one that I inherited from my grandmother and I could kill an intruder with it ... yes it weighs that much! LOL.

Brought the scale home, took it out of the box and promptly threw it out the window!! Ok...I wanted to but I didn't. But HOLY COW! I am embarrassed by the number!

Bootcamp couldn't have come at a better time!

TIME FOR A CHANGE.

Not sure if you have noticed but these new fancy digital scales are not always accurate? i have weighed myself 3 times in a row and gotten 3 different readings :P
We all know the scale is just a number ---KEEP IT IN MIND!!!!!!!
That darn scale does not tell the whole story!!

Yeah...I've been avoiding my scale for the last week. But every time I use the bathroom it STARES at me accusingly.

I might need to move. Or throw the scale out.

    LOL!

I felt the same way when I got on my fancy new scale. I thought, who the hell are you to judge me?? The scale was brutal. It asked if one of us could get off! OMG!

    Time to fight the flabbo!

Bootcamp Day 1 sounds like a good one. You are one day closer to reaching your goal weight! Congratulations!

Hopefully, you didn't toss the inherited scale out the window. But then again, due to the weight of it, I'm sure you would have burned a great deal of calories tossing that bad boy.

Looking forward to seeing your progress!

Nothing gets me more fired up for a challenge than getting a new scale. And just as LADYROSE said - time to move it, to lose it.

    I'm in your corner. Pen

    No embarrassment allowed!

It's just a number that says how much whatever you have in your body right now (that includes bones, muscle, organs, water, intestinal 'bulk' and yes, fat... you've measured it, now move on and move it baby. ;)

Nic, don't beat yourself up over the number, because you'll never see it again after this week! Keep the scale and I KNOW that you'll kick that numbers to the curb!!
