Happy 2010 everyone and where I have been....

Friday, January 01, 2010

I have been sick for about a month now. Ugh. I was sick for 3 weeks before I finally went to the Dr. and it turns out I have bronchitis. YUCK! I am finally starting to get better after almost 2 weeks of antibiotics. Well because I was sick I haven't been working out and because I haven't been working out I have been unmotivated to eat right. Its a vicious cycle. Anyone else ever experience that? The good news is I have managed to gain only 3 lbs in the past month. Not to mention it was also the holidays, I'm not going to lie, I'm impressed that I only gained 3.

Well it is the start of a new year, a new decade, a new month, a new day etc.... As most of you know that read my blogs, I am getting married in a few short weeks. My goal was to lose an additional 30 lbs by then. Well my month of sickness set my back a bit so my goals have been revamped. I am now challenging myself to get below 200 lbs. This is a much more realistic and attainable goal. I know this is one I can meet.

I hope you all have a healthy and splendid 2010. I myself will be working on becoming MY version of thin in 2010. This is going to be my year.

I agree with you - 3 lbs gained when you've been sick AND during the holidays is not bad. I'm sure that you can get rid of that pretty quickly. Hope you're finally feeling better!
