I overdid it on the appetizers at a Christmas party. I grazed and grazed...... AND....I don't feel as good as I usually do when I am careful with what I put in my mouth. Goes to show that eating healthier and watching how much food I eat really does make me feel healthier and better, and more energetic. I am back on eating better, cleaner foods today.
Mine was the cherry pie with a topping of candy cane ice cream on top ... but I said to myself this is not a diet I'm on, it's a lifestyle change and a change is a coming right after I finish my Christmas dinner ... that's my story and I'm sticking to it 4194 days ago
The sweet potatoe pie did me in, with fat free cool whip. I didn't even stop at seconds - thirds. Now I am feeling absolutely miserable. But tomorrow is another day. One day doesn't make us failures, we know we can't do it too often, like maybe next Christmas.
