Weekend schedule and 23 week update...

My parents are coming to see us in a few hours. Here is the schedule for this weekend. I will report back on Monday my stats for the week as well as next weeks fitness schedule. My 6 month doctors appointment is next Thursday!! Praying for another good report. I have been trying so hard to stay on track with my eating and my exercise, so I hope it pays off! My weight continues to grow at a steady rate, now about 1 pound a week, despite all of my activity and efforts. Looking at all I have done, I am perfectly happy with this, my baby is healthy and growing...and so am I! It is just so important for me to stay on course! I have been walking, staying active and eating very well so if I look at all areas of my life, I really do feel that I am doing all I can. I am 23 weeks pregnant and this morning I weighed in showing a 15 pound gain. My goal is to be at 15.5 - 16 pounds for my weigh in next week.

I have now walked almost 26 miles this week. My goal is to reach 30 miles by Saturday. Today my goal is to walk another 4, then on Saturday walk at least 3 miles. I will surpass my goal if I do this!

Again, I will report back on Monday how the weekend went. For now, I am off to walk more and do that last bit of shopping before my parents arrive.

Friday - walk 4 miles
Saturday - walk 3 miles
Sunday - walk 2 miles

    I know you are enjoying a lovely and special time with your folks right now and I am finding such inspiration in your dedication to sticking to your planned and scheduled workouts. How wonderful to have your mom along and walking with you. You are doing a fabulous job of setting that precious baby girl up with the best of nutrition and a healthy mommy :) As long as you just continue to do exactly what you are doing and be cautious to listen to your body and not overdo...your pregnancy weight will not be anything other than just what it should be for a healthy baby and mom. You are such an amazing example for all of us! Wishing you a blessed weekend full of love and memories in the making!

    You have so turned into the walking machine....this baby will either love walking or really hate it...I say this because with my son I craved canned peaches....ate tons, he can't stand them at all.

    You are the most amazing pregnant woman I have known (yep, you just upset my best friend Maria in that category!)

    Girl, you have to be in the top 5% for eating right, exercising, etc.

    There is no way you are not doing MORE than enough. You eat healthy (WAAAY healthy) exercise and know your body sooo well!

    You have this thing NAILED!

    BUT - how in the heck are you ALREADY at 6 months! SLOW THIS THING DOWN!!!!!! LOLOLOLOL

    It all depends on the person and the pregnancy. Also it depends on what you weighed before you were pregnant. If your BMI is normal, then the recommended range is 25 -35 pounds. But everyone is different. One pound a week is ideal of this stage of the pregnancy but not before. Thank you for your comment and support!!

    i haven't had kids yet so i'm very interested...if someone isn't working out while they are pregnant how much faster do they gain weight? is 1 pound a week, like you're gaining, ideal? i'm so impressed with all your energy! you really are inspiring and your workout schedule is something i will be keeping in mind when it becomes my time :)
