Cold, cold and more cold

Monday, December 07, 2009

It is cold and there is only one thing I miss from being overweight and that is the extra insulation. Back in the days I was carrying an extra 180 lbs around with me I never was too cold. That is not the case any more, I really feel the colder weather now. Has been in the teens and single digits the past few days and a few more of them coming before it is to change and I don't like it much. Of course it does not help that half the heat in my place was not working for the past couple of days but that has been fixed now and it is finally warming back up in here.

I know just what you mean. I've lost 175 # and haven't been warm in years! I wear a sweater or jacket all summer! Got thin and can't wear shorts, afraid I'll freeze to death!
It doesn't get as cold here as you get but thanks, 20 degrees is plenty cold for me!

I hear you. I cannot stay warm anymore. My hands are always ice and I am going to have to bring a sweater to work. I always have been very warm at work.

I guess I can wear sweaters! But I do miss the warm sometimes.

Glad the heat has been fixed. This is no time to be without it. We are in the middle of a snowstorm with blizzard like conditions to come tonight with the winds. Stay warm!

I guess I shouldn't feel too bad that I was not able to get to the gym today. I live in normally sunny southern CA. Not today, the old song about how it never rains in CA, but man it pours is holding true today. Sorry your heat was out. burr!
