How unfair life can be!

Sunday, November 29, 2009

I have a very dear friend that i have worked with for the past 6 years she is 29 years of age. She was born with no hands and no legs beyond the knee, they do not know why she was born like this and there are only 5 people lik e her in the country. Despite all this she has passes all her exams, drives her own people carrier car, works the same 12 hour shifts with us, has her own home, does her own housework including the ironing, the only thing, the one only thing he cannot do for herself is unscrew the top off a bottle. She is truy amazing and an inspiration to us all. She has an able bodied and normal boyfriend she has been with for 6 years and with whom she has lived for the past two years and 5 weeks ago on the 24th Oct they married. Yesterday only 5 weeks to the day after their beautiful wedding he left her because her says he has fallen in love with someone at work. I am absolutely devastated for her.

She sounds like a strong and independent wonam and will survive but what a horrible thing to happen. No words can express my sorrow for your friend.

What a B****rd all I can say is as the good book says, he will reap what he has sown, 10 fold.
I'm just glad she has a friend like you to help her get through this.

What a swine, would have been better if he told her before the wedding. She sounds strong enough to cope when she gets over the shock. All you can do is be there when she wants to talk.
At least she has good friends to help her through, and he should remember what goes around, comes around

I'm at a loss for words. I wish this was one of those internet jokes. My heart breaks for your friend.
