Day 5 No Sweets Challenge

Friday, November 13, 2009

No sweets...no big deal!! I've been great on not craving the sweets.

Today, I tried the orowheat thin bread. It is tasty.

I enjoyed my new client last night! She was a blast!!

So, I was at KU Med today instructing a CPR class to 1st year residents. All I have to say is WOW! They look really young to be doctors in a few short years! Then I thought, maybe I'm just getting older! LOL It's all good! I was instructing a class with Steve. Steve happens to be a fitness trainer also. Him and his buddy are writing a book about sports exercise. They train MMA fighters. I was talking to him about my weighted vest I use to do some of my exercises to help strengthen myself up for arm wrestling. He asked if I would do a photo shoot with my vest doing some of my training for their book. I thought that would be really cool! So, in 2 weeks, I have a photo shoot and the gym. I'm really excited about doing this! I started my change in eating this evening! What I get out of this is my photos, photos being published and a signed book.

I did boot camp tonight. Pat changed up the format, so it felt harder tonight...it could have been the 200 push ups this morning and all kinds of core/ab work that made it harder! I should feel this tomorrow!! I only have 3 classes and 1 client tomorrow.

I need to get my meals planned out for tomorrow. Have a great weekend!!!

1. Photo shoot for a book
2. No sweets!
3. No kids tonight!!! emoticon
4. Feeling really good!
5. Bubble bath
6. Bed early with my 4 puppies!!

Strong Mind, Strong Body!
