Not so motivated today :(

Friday, November 13, 2009

I woke up not so motivated today, and I don't know why! I am really trying hard, I want to lose the weight so I feel better with myself and for my husband. Also, so I can play with my baby! It is so hard to get back onto it again! I am getting closer to 300 lbs and I was watching to biggest loser the other night and thought about that girl Shay that started at 450 pounds and I thought if I keep going I am going to be like her. She has lost I think like 200 lbs which is amazing! It is hard with my baby to get to the gym, so I think I am going to have to find other ways!
This is such an amazing site with such wonderful friends! I know that I can do it with their help!!!!! :)

Baby steps :) Take advantage of the Fast Break of just exercising 10 minutes a day. There's tons of ideas on this site on how you can get the 10 min in each day - and most you don't have to leave your house. The 10 min Spark workout videos are awesome. You can also teach your little one the benefits of exercise by using her as your "weight" - arm curls (baby gets a kiss every time Mommy lifts her up; lie on your back with baby on your lower legs (baby gets a kiss every time Mommy lifts her legs); just get on the floor & play with her - you get the idea.

    You CAN do it!!!

Well, I just joined today, so it would be a real downer if the very first blog I read (your's) ends up with someone not following through...even on a day when you're no so motivated. My wife and kids ARE my motiviation. I want so desperately to play with them, that I've come here to help me do it. Please don't let me down. I've struggling too, and I know that if we struggle together (metaphorically) then we can both make it through. Don't give up. Just make it through today.

Your baby is 6 months? How sweet. Take her to the mall and push her around in the stroller. Make several laps. Go fast enough that your breathing increases (only just a little bit). Avoid the food court! Take your own bottled water with you. Please do this for me.

    Sincerely,
    -E-

You must find it within yourself to keep motivated to reach your goals. I've been trying to keep my weight off for many years now. I make a choice to do the best I can everyday to eat healthy and always do some type of exercise. You can do it to! The more you lose the better you will feel. Best wishes to you at reaching your goals! emoticon emoticon emoticon
