Why I exercise 5-6 days a week........and it is not for the scale.

One of my Fab 40 friends asked me to blog so I guess I will.
I enjoy working out. I know it sounds crazy but let me tell you why I get up before the sun comes out every morning to sweat and work out.
First I have a stressful job. Working out in the morning releases all of those feel good hormones that really sets the tone for my day. If I dont work out for at least 30 min Mon-Fri, my day is not as productive.
Second, working out every morning and then drinking 16 oz of water is a laxative by nature :).
You never have to worry about being regular if you do this. My poor mother has to take laxatives and has done so for years and I dont want that to be me.
Third, squats and lunges make my butt look really sexy in jeans.
By lifting weights, you strengthen the muscles that surround the breast. If you wear a good bra, you will always look sexy in that area.
So these are just a few reasons why I work out. The scale is not the only reason.
Oh and one more reason, your complexion will look great because you sweat toxins out of your system every day.
