I spent the last 3 days reading Tom Woloshyn's book:
It is my goal to have an experience that will benefit me both physically and emotionally. Although there is certain to be discomfort at times, it is a journey I desire taking and look forward to learning more about myself on different levels.
I weighed myself today for the first time this month and I weigh exactly the same as I did at the end of September which was 154. I expected 160 for some reason as that is the number I thought I'd gravitate to without focusing on weight loss and not doing cardio at all. I was wrong. I track my food daily and my activity and although the mirror says 154 my mind expected 160. (Makes me understand the challenges the "scale" and "mirror" have for so many people.)
Today I went shopping at Whole Foods to get the ingredients for my drink. Interestingly, the woman in the laxative department asked me if I was doing the cleanse. I said, "You noticed from all the lemons in my cart?" She replied that the entire store did it at the beginning of the year and she only lasted 3 days. They have 5-6 people per week coming in to get the ingredients.

So I'm prepared and ready to start Day 1 of this journey tomorrow and look forward to blogging daily about my experience.
