I went shopping today. I wanted black leggings, which I found, but I couldn't find a top to go with it. It's black! How hard is it to find something to go with black??? I wanted it to be kinda of blousey and tighter around the tush. Most of the shirts I found made me look like I was either working the corner or desperate! I went to several stores today with Karissa and Fabian. Fabian seen some of the blouses and he said he wouldn't let me out of the house with them on! I will go again tomorrow. I wanted to wear it to the competition this weekend. Oh, I did try on some slacks. Because I don't have a small waist line, I never know what size I wear. I try everything on! Tried 12's, too big. Tried 10's, still too big. Officially, size 8!!! I tried on several different brands just to make sure. Maybe that's why the kids were getting tired! WOOHOO!!!
I have been asked by some folks if I wanted to compete. I have thought about it in the past, but because of icky skin issues, there is no way! I'm happy that people I work out around see the results of my hard work. It makes me feel like I'm getting somewhere!
Tonight was the free nutrition class at work for portion distortion. 3 ladies from SP were there. It was really cool having them there. I'm glad they took advantage of the workshop!
Last night was the free kickboxing class. There were 2 other SP folks there besides myself. I didn't even know one of them was from SP!!! We, I think I can speak for all 3 of us, had a great time. Mygrannylynn and Uglyshoes get great big kudos for keeping up! Both of them did awesome!!! Shoulders and back are sore from 2 days straight of kickboxing.
November 8th is the special work out for the KC Sparkers, since they won the team fitness minutes challenge last month.
I have about 36 hours before we leave for Ok. I need to pack tomorrow night about my classes. I need to buy ice for the cooler and pack food. Besides that and filling up on gas, I'm ready to rock n roll! Can't tell I'm STILL excited for my road trip!
