Fastin is over the counter...

Wednesday, October 21, 2009

Does anyone remember the Fastin craze about 10 yrs ago? It was only thru prescription...but very effective. (AKA as adipex or Phentermine). Well.....I took that on and off for a few years and loved it for weight lost. The only problem is that it made my mind so much faster than my body could go so I was out of control. It also made my breath horrid and I didn't sleep well at night.....so...I stopped taking it. Well, I was at the pharmacy the other day and someone was buying Fastin over the counter. The pharmacist says that this company bought the "name" and the ingredients are NOT the exactly the same. The Fastin active ingredient is phenylethylamine HCL with some other ingredients and 100mg of caffiene. So I bought a bottle of 30 tablets for about 22.00. I decided to try it on a weekend...just in case I didn't do well with it. I took only a half of a tablet early in the morning...and it really did curve my appetite all day. I have taken if for the past 5 days now and doing fine with just 1/2 tablet. I am sure I will have to up it to a whole tablet once my body gets used to it. I have had a little trouble sleeping....but not too bad. I really would LOVE to be able to loose weight without the help of a pill...but I fall off the wagon too easily.

Just be careful....if you have any type of heart condition....you may not want to use diet pill!

I don't recommend taking pharmaceutical drugs but herbal stimulants and appetite suppressants can sometimes be helpful. Fastin is indeed over the counter but nothing is better than exercise and diet in my opinion. emoticon emoticon .

Although I have used these with some success in addition to diet and exercise.

Please, please be careful. A friend who is much younger than myself had a heart attack from taking weight loss pills.

    Dennie -

I don't eat too much, just some wrong things here and there (that add up quickly!) so this may not be fore me. Please be careful on this, OK?
