Did great last week, went a little off the rails this weekend, but I'm back at it with a vengeance. I was up yesterday but this morning I weighed in with a new low since starting over - 154.4. Onward and downward from there I say! I went 50 calories over what I was trying for yesterday (was shooting for 1400) but it was all good healthy food so no real complaints.
I started the 30 day shred yesterday, I desperately needed something new for strength. On level 1, there were hard parts to it but overall I sorta discounted it as a real workout and went for a 5k run right after. Today, I am pretty sore! I did 30 mins of DDR in the morning (but at a lower intensity than normal) and I'm set to do another shred after work. I'm already deviating from my plan for the week but I'm thinking a cycle of Day 1 - shred/run, Day 2 - shred/DDR, Day 3 - shred/yoga, and then repeat (and take Day 7 off completely). If I can do this for 4 weeks, I'll still have 2 weeks to train really hard if I want for the 5 mile run on Thanksgiving morning (or I can just treat it as a fun run and be happy with anything under 50 mins).
I took Shred before pictures yesterday, and today I need to get my measurements. I've seen some dramatic improvements in 30 days so hopefully I can do that too! If not, hey, it will be fun, right? Either way, I will report back!
