The wedding was awesome. If you want to read about my adventures in Vegas, check it out here: adjustedreality.com/blog

. When I started this journey in Jan 2007, one of my big motivations was having wedding pictures I was proud to hang on the wall. I do say, even if I lose the rest of the weight and tone up more, I don't think I'll ever just want to put these in a box hidden away. Mission accomplished!
I took some time before and after the wedding to relax but as of yesterday, I'm back at it. I weighed in at 159.0 yesterday (ouch) and am down to 156.8 today (less ouch but still) so I'm giving myself this week to get all the junk out of my system before I really see where I stand. On Friday, I will update my tracker to wherever I'm at (as this will be my first real post wedding weigh in) and consider that my start and we'll go from there.
I'm back to 1500 cal/day this week (so I don't go into total shock after two weeks of eating whatever I please), with a little more on the weekends, and then next week making the jump to 1200 (or as close as I can get) on weekdays, and 1500-2000 on weekends. I did pretty well with that the 10 days before the wedding, so I figure I'll keep at it at least until I start training for my half marathon in November. Could I possibly enter the holidays under 150? That would be awesome. I have encountered the 150 bubble, gotten close a few times but never under. I would really like to be normal (BMI that is).
I have some sort of body funk going on - I don't feel tired enough to rest, but workouts are really tough. I don't feel bad enough to say I'm sick, but my nose is running and my throat is scratchy. I don't feel depressed, but I feel not like my normal self. I figure it's a combination of the week and a half of unusual food and habits, the grey weather (I perked up a little when the sun came out today), and possibly allergies if I'm not coming down with anything. So, the plan is to just resume normal life. Slog through the workouts. Eat the good stuff. Eventually whatever is manifesting will go away (hopefully) or it will finally get me and I'll be grateful I got workouts in when I could.
So I'm pumping myself up for the first run in almost 2 weeks and some weights tonight. I'll take it a little slower than normal but I can't wait forever (especially if the lack of exercise is what's causing it).
