Week October 5th - 11th

This is my first week that I have really been right on target and it has felt GREAT!! After being missing for probably years now, I think I actually found my willpower again!
Team Living Binge Free: Today is Day 5 binge free! That is probably the furtherest I've gotten out on being binge free. I'm part of the group that does the 21 days Binge Free. It's a good goal and most people start the count right back over after they hit 21. I'm not looking that far ahead right now...just happy to be on Day 5!
Bike to the Moon: I just joined this group yesterday and I LOVE It! I bought a Healthrider Exerplay 300 last weekend from Craigslist. It is absolutely awesome & frees up my time at the gym for strength training only. So I thought it would be good to have a challenge on the Bike. So my goal for October is to bike 100 miles on my Healthrider! www.healthrider.com/weba
Thich Nhat Hahn & others and Inner Journey: Knowing these groups represent my Spiritual Journey for me, I'm going to combine this with my Bookworms & PBS People Teams for this week. I just finished reading Elizabeth Gilbert's Eat, Pray, Love. What an absolutely wonderful book!!! I adored her story & her journey to heal herself. I really learned alot about meditation and I learned a few more tools about healing myself. With these tools, my eating disorder will hopefully begin to heal itself as well. In other words, as I learn to heal myself from within, I won't feel the 'need' to eat under emotional stress. That is the plan & I enjoy watching it unfold.
Bookworms / PBS People: See above.
Mothers of Multiples: They're officially 3 & have come to embrace the word 'NO'! Reprimanding/disciplining the twins is probably my #1 stressor as far as the above paragrah goes. I want to learn patience with the twins in their stage of independence & discovery. I pray that I can find that peace.
Chronic Pain / Backache Smackache: My back was actually doing wonderfully until I started hitting the exercise hard again. But I'm okay with it today & tolerating the pain as I go. There is no quick fix for me & I just have to bare through this & hope that weight loss will indeed help my back.
It's been a great week so far & I accept the challenge of this weekend. I will spend 2 full days with my wonderful loving kids & I will not stuff my face. The kids & their behavior & food are not related.
Till next time,
