Time for a renewed plan

I promised myself and even emailed some friends that I would get this blog done, lol made sure I could not back out.
I really admire my friends who blog daily. I just have a hard time with that. I am going to work harder at blogging weekly.
So first update on wrist its been 6 weeks since the accident and surgery, saw Dr Monday and he was pleased and reminded me that I really need to work on getting my palm side up, this is the hardest but there is a time limit, 3 months after that only a little more mobility will happen, its all the problem with scar tissue from the break and surgery. I really damaged this wrist. But am moving forward with therapy and home exercises.
One thing that happened with the accident is that is did set back my weight loss goal, I had hoped to be done to 250 by my bday in now 8 days and really know it wont happen, yes I am a little upset but just determined to lose the last 1.2 lbs to have loss a total of 50 lbs since mid March. Starting tomorrow I will be able to add strength training back into my exercise plan, not resistant band which I really like but I know that will come.
Tomorrow is weigh in for 2010 team and I would just be all giggly if I have lost that last pound+ but not going to hold my breathe.
OK the plan for Oct is to:
1. walk 3x a week either outside or on treadmill for 1.5 miles, on treadmill I have a 3% incline
so time to amp it up to 4%
2. add 15 minutes strength exercises 3x a week
3. stay within the lower range of calories during the week and let weekends have a little more
flex
4. Blog at least once a week try for more
5. I need to drink more water so time to set a goal of 9 glasses a day. It is just adding one more.

That is a good beginning. I want to get back to my hour of exercise 6 times a week so this is a good beginning. I do volunteer and that is 2 days a week with lots of walking involved. I do miss my pool time since that was just daily fun exercise, but its getting too cold for that.

So this is my plan and my goal. Keep positive thoughts for wrist improvement and keeping to all my goals. If you come around and read this please feel free to kick my butt when needed. I have an overall goal of weighing 150 lbs by my bday 2010. I believe with hard work I will make it.

    You can't beat yourself up if you do not meet the goal by your birthday, this year. That was totally taken out of your hands (no pun intended)and your control when you had the accident. You have had to spend your time and energy on recuperating and getting your wrist back in shape. Your exercised has really been compromised since the accident and yet you have continued to lose weight despite of that. I think you are doing great!

    Wow! I'm the first! It is good to see that you have your plan and are setting out to get the goals accomplished! 50 pounds?! Congratulations! You can do it! Your bday is in 8 days...you will surely hit that 50 pound marker by then. I hope you get back to 100% with that wrist soon. I know injuries can be a nag for sure. I wish I had a treadmill, I would surely put in some work that machine...lol I love them! Alright Momma! I wish you luck and as always you know that I am here for you when you need me and even when you don't! TTYL!
