Working Out With A Personal Trainer
Wednesday, September 09, 2009
I'm a new member at Fitness 19 gym. New members get a free hour with a personal trainer. Today, I had my free hour with the personal trainer. I got there on time and met Trent. Right away I felt intimidated because he was so damn hot! How in the hell could I workout with him? We started slow with some ball and weight exercises and I didn't do very well. We also did a "Fitness Profile". They tested my body fat, push-ups, back flexibility, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, resting heart rate, aerobic fitness, and then I got a final score. I did horrible!!!! I didn't meet "Fit" in any category. I couldn't even do one push-up. I did learn some cool strength exercises that I can do at home. When my "Fitness Profile" was done, I also got a summary of each category. Wow, my comments really sucked! In Body Fat it said "Because high body fat is associated with increased risk of several health problems, you may want to consider a weight loss program." When my hour with the personal trainer was over I felt so horrible I only walked on the treadmill for 10 minutes, than I decided to use the stationary bike... well, that lasted 10 minutes. I felt so crappy I went home. At least I worked out for 4 hours yesterday. ~Good Luck~
