Complaining vs Venting--Explained

Tuesday, September 08, 2009

This is to anyone who considers themselves a complainer. YOU ARE NOT COMPLAINING, YOU ARE VENTING THE TRUTH AS IT IS. You know what I mean. You are doing a Joe Friday--Just the facts ma'am. emoticon The situations you are describing are the ultimate in frustration, the worst of the worst that could happen to a person. How can we know what is going on with you if you don't tell us? How do you get the frustration off your chest if you don't tell a sympathetic soul? We need to know the bad things that are going on out in the world so our piddly little problems don't overwhelm us. And if you vent to us then you don't open your mouth to the wrong person and compound your problems.

DO YOU UNDERSTAND!!! Both you and We need to hear what frustrations you are going through. I'm yelling at myself as well as each of us. Troubles are to be shared not hoarded until they make us sick. Sharing is part of caring.

I agree and applause you for this blog. Sometimes it feels like we are the only person who have problems like the ones we have, and airing our frustrations, many times, causes a response that assures us that others have gone through the same circumstances and really do understand and sympathize or offer encouragment that makes us feel better........and not so alone with our problem. You're a wise lady...........but then I've known that for a long time now:o)

complaining Me? never.. lol. i do my share and yes we need to vent. One thing about here on spark and our team. we all know what we are talking about. we have all been through it all. We give hugs when someone needs. and when we need to be straightened out i always know someone will do that job toooo. which is why our team gets along so well. lol. we all care for one another. and if you want advice.. WELL. it will come. lol.. sometimes even before you ask for it.

Great Blog Delores, I too have felt like all I was doing is whining sometimes. But the frustration can be overwhelming and I have always... did I say ALWAYS had great support on this site. The patience of everyone one is amazing. The advice is incredible. And the relief of getting something of your chest is indescribable.

Wow! You are SO right! I was hesitating to write in my blog, b/c I didn't really have anything earth-shattering to say, but ventilating frustrations is a GOOD use of the space!
THANKS!! I like that -- sharing as part of caring!
