Woo Hoo!! 6 miles done

It helps when you have someone picking you up to go walk/run. Otherwise I would have bagged it yet again. I keep telling myself I'm not a morning person. Yet I have no trouble getting up early to go to a quilt retreat or quilt show.

I didn't want to disappoint Abbi or myself yet again. I set the alarm for 5:15 and the alarm on my cell for 5:30. I was awake before either went off. I got up and did the morning routine, got dressed and toasted me an english muffin.

Abbi picked me up at 6:10 and we headed to the westside of town for what was suppose to be 9 miles. Now I figured since the longest I had gone this year was 4 it would silly and down right stupid to go 9.3. Instead I chose to do the 6.2 mile route. I was glad I did as Abbi did the 9 and we finished at the same time. Otherwise she would have had to wait for me and who knows how long that would have been.

We started out at 7:00am down a hilly path towards downtown to the Greenway. Once we hit the greenway it was back towards are starting point. The day was gorgeous.

Came home and fixed me another english muffin and an egg. Took a hot bath and went to Wally World. I had a hard time deciding what to get for dinner. Hubby is working 12 hrs today and 16 tomorrow. I had to get something he could take with him tomorrow. In the end I settled for Stouffer's lasagna and salad. Not sure yet if that's what I have or change my mind and have something else.

I came home and ate a turkey sandwich on healthy life wheat bun and some pretzels. I did buy a sample size carton or Ben and Jerry's cherry garcia. My favorite. Right now it's still in the freezer. I'm in no big hurry to eat it.

I bought some carrot chips while I was at the store. It seems to satisfy's my urge for potato chips and healthier.

I've set my cell phone alarm to ring every 90 minutes to remind me to drink 8+oz of water. So far so good. I have a tendency to forget to drink and then I eat because I think I'm hungry. Only I'm actually thirsty.

Off to do something else.
