To any guys that might start reading this. emoticon emoticon emoticon You aren't going to understand. For all the woman, I'm sure you will "get it".

I was taking my shower yesterday before work, and had to shave my legs because I was going to wear my capris. There I am in the shower, on leg planted firmly on the floor of the tub ( I hoped), and the other leg up in the air, balanced on the side. Don't laugh. You know you've been in this awkward position. Anyway, I started rubbing on the shave gel, and guess what. I HAVE CALF MUSCLES!! Really, I'm not kidding, there are actually muscles there. I think I spent 5 minutes pointing my toes, to flex my calves, so I could look at them. I decided I had better stop, and shave my legs, because I had to ready to leave. I once again, assumed that awkward position, and got started. Guess what else. IT WAS EASIER!! I was able to bend and twist in all those awkward positions to get every inch of my legs.

I don't know if I'd consider this a milestone, or achievement. But hey I figure anything we can do easier than we could before is important.

The point is this....
CELEBRATE THE SMALL THINGS!! Even if it's just being able to shave your legs, or tie your own shoes. The point is your making progress, and progress should be celebrated.

HERE'S TO YOU, AND THE PROGRESS YOU'RE MAKING.

emoticon AWESOME ACCOMPLISHMENT! These are the things that count, when you are able to see your own success whether it be seeing more defined muscles or a pair pants that use to be almost to tight to button falling off at your hips. Great Job!!!

I agree we must celebrate the small things. You know I have put my friends accomplishments on my activity feed. I'm thinking tomorrow's should read "AWYEAGLE is so proud of Dani for finding muscles and shaving her legs."

Relax I'm only kidding, but you are correct all of these little things are what keep us going and I remember the 1st time I found a muscle in my thigh of all places I called my Mom and yelled guess what I have a muscle. Being long and lean herself she was not quite as impressed as I was.

So here's to you our Miss Dani (raises mug), congrats on your 1st muscle find and here's to many more to come! emoticon
