Do this and then move on!

Ok, my quiet day at home is turning out to be something else.

Now i have all the components of what is expected of me for my class that I'm teaching, and I need today......only son invited me to lunch and grandbaby is home at the tale end of the flu--I know that I will cave and care for her this afternoon, and ......

I also have some call to make about teaching positions for fall

Something interesting happened. I had applied for the full time where I'm an adjunct and didn't get it, only, no one informed me, and I was at the meeting last night where the gal wasn't there because she just gave birth. I'm ok, I felt bad for the one who had been there for a while.

Anyway, about the food.......I didn't have a sack lunch packed to go in the freezer, and when I walked out the door, I didn't take food with me.

So I spent $1 at McDonalds, and then when I got to the meeting, they had subway sandwiches and coke.

It was a blessing that I didn't get the full time. Money wise, it would have been a good idea, but, there is one hopping mad adjunct who has the history of the school and lots of good strategies. I'm teaching the max number of classes, and when she asked me how many classes I was teaching, I told her and she shared that that was too many classes to teach.

so, I see this as my needing to be extra on top of things this year. I like the new administration,
