Doing Better!

My weight loss is still at a snail's pace but at least its coming off.
I think I lost two pounds the whole month of June.
I'm still not happy about my bs but I'm working on it.
My 30 day average is 114 a little better.
Would love for it to be under 100, I know I'm being very hard on myself but I can't help it.
Its usually 12 hours between dinner and breakfast and I been trying to find the right carb/protein bed time snack to eat that wont cause a liver dump in the middle of the night, any ideas????

    Theresa, it looks to me like you are gradually coming down. I tend to eat late (7:30 to 8:00) because I work so late, so I don't have a bedtime snack. You know are resident expert is Mary (Wowweetoo). The general rule is a 15 gram carb coupled with a protein (to stretch out the effect of the carb). And, of course, it should be a healthy carb. If it has fiber, it will stretch out the effect as well. I like cheese, so I tend to use that as my protein.

    Good luck. It looks like you are doing fine. Quit stressing too much - it makes your bs go up. (sorry, bad joke

    Howdy lady~
    Borrowed Keith's computer he's working o.t.
    I get early morn phenon. almost all the time. Do you have a food digest on here, well you know what I mean.
    I get that when I eat too much at night. Not a dump actually but being a piggy, for me. Say I eat right, don't eat too late take meds at right time and amount (insulin/metformin). Also it is around 10pm (night person). My blood sugar is below 90. I do get nervous,part of my overeating problem. Okay I depend on peanutbutter. 1tb. about 90 cals. and 3 low fat/cal crackers. The fat is supposed to keep your sugar from going too high, the protein is supposed to help it from going too low. I would keep this snack under about 150. I think you told me you don't eat after 5pm? I could be wrong.
