Another positive day

Tuesday, July 07, 2009

Had a great workout this morning and this evening. I really got sweaty this evening.

Last month I decided to do positive talk every morning in July. I've been doing this now for 7 days. This morning, even though I got in bed late last night, I woke up before the alarm. I never hop up out of bed. As I was stretching my body, I thought it is a good day. I feel good. I've worked really hard the night before and I was very proud of myself. I brought my knees to my chest and heard the popping of my knees and the stretch in my back. No pain...I rolled on up and reached for my toes....still no pain. This will be a good day.

I had my treatment on my feet and legs today. That wasn't so great, but I did feel better afterwards. Who knew you could through your heel out of alignment! Can I tell you that this does not feel good to put it back in place. I have to use my rolling pin a little more often on my lower legs (anterior tibialis.) I hope I never get pulled over on Tuesday or Friday evenings because I have my socked feet on ice packs on the drive home...cruise control!

I did really good on my nutrition today. Sodium was a little high, but not horrible! 177gms of protein today...goes well with the hard workouts!
