Holiday Weekend Accountability

Okay, so I managed to navigate my way through the booby trap loaded holiday weekend and still got 2 pounds lighter on the scale this morning. I've been really trying to watch my calories and was doing pretty well. But I totally blew off the calorie counting this weekend! So I consider myself lucky to have seen any weight loss whatsoever last week!
School started again today, so now I'll also be battling the straight from work to school routine of running through the drive thru somewhere on my way. My current strategy is going to be to have a snack on my way to school, such as half a protein bar, an apple, etc. Then have a healthy dinner when I get home. This is where the part about making it a lifestyle change comes into play -- BIG TIME!!!
It's all about me being able to break the old habit of convenience and easiness for something that's less detrimental to my health and my waistline!
