So, in my last blog, I mentioned I was a bit nervous about no physical activity for a week after Lasik surgery. Well, I've cheated a little...I've been walking on the treadmill in the morning for 20-30 minutes...not enough intensity to risk sweat getting in my eyes, but enough to keep myself in my routine and thinking about continuing to build on my recent success!

As of this morning, I'm down another 2 pounds this week! Yay me!!! Now, if I can just maintain this week's weight loss through the holiday weekend I'll be golden!

Final thought for today...I have read on SP about other folks doing the C25K program. (It stands for Couch to 5K...I had to look it up.) Basically, it's a 9 week interval training program that gets you built up to run a 5k. Being curious, I asked a couple of folks at work if they'd heard of it. Of course, they hadn't but they thought it was a GREAT idea and before I knew what was happening, we were all committing to run a 5k in the fall together!

I think that was the push I needed to seriously consider the idea, because, honestly, I only run from the building to the car when it's raining or when someone is chasing me! But it looks like I'll soon be starting the C25K program. I'll keep my progress posted here I'm sure.
