If money/diet weren't an object....

If money/diet weren't an object, what is your favorite:
"salty" snack
"sweet" snack
breakfast meal
And since money/diet may be, what do you eat instead?

My favorite salty snack would be nuts.....peanuts and/or pistachios. I don't keep them around for diet reasons.
My favorite sweet snack is....not sure :) I am not a big sweet person. But to answer the question, I would have to say its icecream.
My favorite breakfast meal would be toasted bread, eggs, pancakes wtih maple syrup and sausage.

Since I cannot have the above at my leisure, I limit them in a couple of ways:
For the nuts, I buy a container from Sam's Club every other time I shop at Sams' Club. If I 'feel' fat, then I do not buy it.
For the icecream, I only crave it so often and as long as its not in the house, I do not eat. If its in the house and I want some, I sometimes drink water before eating just to make sure its not thirst that's causing the craving. But there are times I just get me a good helping and enjoy it LOL!!!!!
As for the breakfast meal, I have learned to eat all these foods by combining them e.g. I can have eggs and toast or eggs and pancake etc....get the picture?

I know I can have all these foods but in moderation....yes I know that, but when they are in the house moderation goes out the door!!!! I am getting better especially with the breakfast meal but the nuts are hard to crack. I have not bought nuts for the last 2 months and didn't miss them until I had to blog about them.......yes you guessed it! I am going to get some but this time from a grocery store and not the Sam's Club big container :)

I love nuts, too! I got some of the natural almonds (no salt added) in individual packets - originally for DH, but he never took them with him, so I've been eating on them.
ICE CREAM! ANOTHER of my "downfalls". If I'm asked if I want to go out for some, the answer is ALWAYS "yes!" Good thing DH is in the saddle with me right now ... :)
LOL @ the pun "nuts are hard to crack"! I like to have my chopped walnuts in my breakfast oatmeal sometimes too ...
NOW I'm hungry! LOL (Pass some nuts on over, k?)
