Recuperating

Tuesday, May 26, 2009

My pacemaker surgery was 3 weeks ago and I am starting to feel a little better.
It is so hard not to raise your arm up though. The weather turned hot and humid and it makes me feel weak. I finally had to turn the airconditioner on.
I hated doing that so early in the season. I was hoping for a small break from the high energy bills. Don't think that is going to happen. (Ha, ha).

I have tried not to gain any weight till I could get back into exercising, but I have put on a couple of pounds. We have eaten out a lot, since the surgery, and I try my best not to over do it though.

I'm allowed to start walking more now, so I am going to try and do that if the weather will co-operate some. I will get back on track though. I am determind to get this weight off. It took me 3 years, to lose 50 pounds and if it takes me another 3 years to lose another 50 ,that is what it will be. I am still hoping that it will not take that long though.

With Spark People's help, I , WILL, make it happen.
