Not much to say.......except I am proud I only ate one donut.

Weekend was busy and apart from walking around the track on Saturday that's about all the athletic activity that fit into my schedule. I am glad I watch what I eat and exercise during the week so I don't have to be so rigid on the weekends. I spent most of my weekend in the car. My daughter had dress rehearsal and two performances this weekend, my sister came to town and both the kids had soccer practice. Friday night, we ate pizza and Sunday afternoon I met my sisters for lunch, if I didn't watch what I eat during the week I would be a goner from all the junk food I consume on the weekend. Before soccer practice, I promised my kids Krispy Kremes. I had one, I know one donut is about 500 calories a serving, but let me just say when they come straight off the conveyor belt and it's still warm.........totally worth the calories. I am very proud of myself for stopping at one, but knowing the calorie count really helps put things into perspective. During the week, I try to eat between 1200 - 1500 calories a day. If I ate, 3 Krispy Kremes thats all my calories for one day! And one cannot live on donuts alone. I would be so jittery someone would have to check me in a rehabilitation center.
