OMG~what a day!

Friday, May 01, 2009

We had a group of 107 4th graders and parents come in for breakfast (a 1/2 hour earlier then scheduled) Well the driver must of been having a bad vacation because well let's just say...he told me to shut up and ended up complaining to my manager about me and getting the number for the head of the food & beverage department. Luckily the head guy didn't seem to upset over the whole thing. Then on my break I went over to the store to see a friend and ended up knocking over 3 glasses.

Well, tonight the ranger program is about "Inner canyon hiking" so I figure I should go to that as I'm sure I will learn something new...and something useful for my June hike/camp-out.

With everything going on today...all I have had is coffee. I woke up at 3am, and its now almost 4pm. So I guess I should go eat something before the ranger program. There is a ranger program every night at 7:30.

I ordered new beads in the mail to make some new necklaces for the bazaar. I'll take pictures of everything at the bazaar but not sure when I will get to post them online seeing as my computer still isn't working at home.

    Hey you. What a day....

But, you need to remember to get yourself a bite to eat during the day. You don't want to throw off the metabolism that you have been working so hard to get running.

Tell me about the Ranger talk. I always go to every Ranger talk when I am there. Normally I can take something away from it. I am thankful for the Rangers. My first hike I was going to go light. It was the rangers who talked me into taking a tent. When I went to the 1st Ranger talk at the Ranch I learned a great lesson on why I took the tent. The Bark Scorpions are everywhere down there. Of course I went and put my shoes back on. I hate shoes. I was barefoot as soon as I hit the campground. My feetsy loved soaking in the creek. Ahhhhhh, I can still remember that great feeling.

Well you have a better day tomorrow. Your boss knows what you all go through, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. :)

Seems to me that going all day without eating could be dangerous. ?? At least it would be for me. Maybe it would be good to plan some snacks or something to eat on your busy days.
