My Kids are driving me crazy today........

Thursday, April 23, 2009

The oldest one is acting like an idiot like his Dad today. He just wants to fight this kid at school no matter what. The kid won't hit him and start the fight, but he runs his mouth all of the time to my son. My son is fed up and he is so mad. I have gotten him to calm down about this before. I have been to his school too. I keep telling them that when my son hits this kid, they are going to be the ones responsible because they can't control this kid.
My 5 year old won't stop talking at school. He is only 5 and loves the girls already. He has to talk to them all of the time. He just gets in trouble with the boys, so they sit him by the girls. Now he just talks all the time.
It has been along and trying day. My sinus headache is back. My sore feet and hands just want to go back to bed now.UGH! I am having a fun day!

I sent my son to a Montessori type school for K-5 and he was able to talk all he wanted and move around the room, and it was great for him. It seemed like chaos, but he learned to read and a lot more.

The years go by so fast. My kids were little and did things that drove me crazy too! I was so busy working and trying to take care of them and I was overwhelmed almost all the time. The the years went by so fast and they were grown. They all live miles and miles and states away from me. I wish I could have slowed down more when they were young, just to appreciate them and cuddle a little more and listen and do more fun exercise things with them. I used to invite all their friends over for baseball games and sleep overs and everyone had a great time.

Those years are just memories now. I wish I could have some of those days back when they were young and it was a safer time and in lots of ways an easier time, even though it was really hard at the time.

You are blessed more than you know.

Frustration 101 for you today! And, that calls for a nice warm bath, a nice glass of wine and quiet time for only YOU! Close the bedroom door, turn on some music or grab a favorite book and hope and pray for tomorrow to be a better day! Take care, sweetie!

I do feel for you. Is the other kid a bully? My neighbor's son is in the second grade and my son is in the 5th grade but my neighbor's son is about 30 lbs heavier than my son. he constantly instigates things with my son. told my son that if he ever hits you to give him two warnings then after than just push him down and hard to let him know to stop it and you don't like it. we can't fight their battles all the time. sometimes it's not even worth talking to the parents because they are in denial. i am assuming you have talked with the principal of the school too.

i, too, have two kids. my dd is 13 going on 21 and i have a son who is 11 who thinks he's 18. not sure how old your older one is but i totally understand where you are coming from.

i even had issues with someone bullying my 13 yr old. it's horrible for girls. i had to contact the guidance counselor to make sure they were not on the same team the following year.

vent as much as you can because you have to or you will lose your mind. let me know if i can help.
