I now have a pacemaker and it is a little tender. I can't do much of anything for the next week and that is killing me. I want to do things. I can't take the pain medicine because it makes me sick. I am using naproxn and that is working fine. I also sleep the whole time with the meds. I slept my life away yesterday. I woke up and ate a little so I haven't drank enough, or eaten enough. I am hungry this morning and hope I don't sleep all day.

Glad to see your surgery went well. Take it easy and rest for now. You'll be back to your old self in no time. Doesn't do any good to overdo, etc. etc. etc. (mother Carole has spoken j/k).
    Take care.

I have the same concern as Karon because my surgeon took me off my NSAID for my knee arthritis forever - can't take NSAIDS because they cause ulcers in our pouches.
Just double check to make sure okay? There is a lady in my monthly support group that had to have a revision done because she kept taking Ibuprofen after her RNY - it ate holes in her pouch. Not trying to scare you, just want to make sure nothing bad happens. We all love ya Sandy - take good care of yourself!

Be careful with the Naproxen. Isn't that an Nsaid drug? I thought those were off limits after our gastric bypass surgery. Take care and let things heal. God bless you! ~Karon

    You'll be back soon!

Take it easy for now and enjoy that sleep. Body needs to rest! Even Sparks says that.
