It's been a long day!

Power yoga, hi/lo aerobics, cleaning the gym, power yoga, dance lesson, back to gym from 4-8 for our 20th Anniversary of being open.

At least I got to take a shower at work! In fact, I think I got to cleaned up. Dr. Lee didn't recognize me. I've know her for at least 21+ years. She delivered the oldest and the youngest son! I think that was a hint to dress up more and not always be seen in workout gear!

My positive for the day is that I had the will power to pass up home made tamales, beans and rice. I almost forgot the cake! Instead, I came home and ate a nice salad and chicken! Yeah for thinking about my food intake and how it makes me feel when I don't!

My hubby passed the obstacle course and the written test today for the Indep. police dept. Now we wait! If they accept him, he will go in front of the comm. for an oral board. The good thing is when he was running the course, the officers watching from the sidelines, were cheering him on. He was one of the largest guys out there. He cleared the highest hurdle with at least 8" extra inches (hurdle was 30" high). They were cheering because he could drag the 165lb manikin with one hand..."thanks to my hardcore wife pushing me!!"

Makayla is pouting because she lost her way too expensive phone on the bus today. I'm glad we didn't buy it! We just get the repercussions from it.

Besides that, it was a good day, just long. I'm sitting her in my pj's waiting to change over laundry.

Strong Mind, Strong Body!

Great job on passing up the goodies! It's not very easy to do.

And congrats to your husband on passing the course (with your help!)

Take some time to pat yourself on the back! And give your husband a hug for being man enough to work with you. You both deserve a lot of credit!

And as for the cell phones, well, we've bought quite a few and had kind friends donate their old used but still functioning ones to my kids who have had serious phone loss problems. It just happens. If they lose a new one they get a used, out-of-fashion one (oh well! Teach you to be more careful) and the DD has had to buy her own used ones a few times. DS thought he lost his new one in the ambulance when he went to the hospital for a dislocated knee last weekend. He found it at the hospital . . . days later. I was THIS CLOSE to cancelling his service.

CONGRATS to your DH and clearing that 30" hurdle! I don't know if *I* could even do that! I'd probably fall over it! Then again, I can fall over my own feet! HAHA!
AWESOME JOB on passing up the homemade foods! Definitely have some willpower there!
Sending SUPER GOOD VIBES to your DH on the acceptance!!!!
