A little better today

I was under my cal intake by a few today, but hit everything else...except sodium. Sodium wasn't horrible. It was around 2800mg. That is actually really good for me.
I did 40 min of yoga today. About 1/2 through, I realized my body was fatigued. I decided to have a down day on strength training. I ran on the treadmill for about 25 minutes. Heading to bed early tonight.
So, I got a compliment from the stepdaughter. She even said it in front of her step dad and dad. We were at her track meet. She has been struggling because she doesn't have very much strength or endurance. I can't tell her anything...stepmom! Kent was asking questions like who is the fastest guy/girl on the team. He asked why she thought this particular girl was the fastest. She said because she had a Priscilla Mom. I wasn't sure if this was a compliment at first! She said the girl's mom is always there, always showing her how to do things, always there supporting everything she does. That made me feel great! You have to understand that Kayla is very much a girly-girl and I'm soooo not! She is trying to pole vault, triple jump, long jump and run 4 X400meter. Being the tomboy I am, I threw shot and disc in track besides the regular standby sports of volleyball, basketball, and softball.
I'm hoping that she will let me train her, but I will not push it! She could be very good at any of these sports, but she has to want it. Her mom is more like her best friend, which puts me in an awkward position. I will take this as a win!!! WOOHOO!!!
Anyway, Kent is now down 30lbs. I'm so proud of him. Tomorrow he runs the obstacle course at work. He is very nervous, but I think he will do just fine on the real deal on saturday.
Lots of good things are happening in my life right now. I hope this pattern keeps going for a while. It really helps relieve some stress!
