Baby is here

Friday, March 20, 2009

Well, now that I had my baby, I can focus on my weight again. I feel so dissapointed and have very little motivation. But I am here and I will find my motivation again. I would live to excersise, but the c-sec is making it hard for me. 2 weeks after the surgery, I went back to school and on top of that, I am teaching 9th grade biology, plus working on my thesis, breat feeding, and taking care of the home. I don't even know how I'll find the time to focus on me, but I will figure it out.

Thank you all for your words. I just feel so exhausted trying to manage so much at once and not know where to start sometimes. I am trying to deal with one day at a time, but at the end of the day, I feel so tired that looking at myself in the mirror just makes me feel depressed. I have to admit, I even take it all out on my husband and that's not fair at all. My self esteem just went out the window. But I keep telling myself that I'm back to SP and that I can do this just like I did before. I need to do this for me and also for my baby because I want to run with her. Again, thanks for listening. emoticon

Congratulations on your little bundle of joy! Don't be too hard on yourself. Enjoy your little bebe and take the time to make sure that you heal properly from the c-section. After that, you can do your thing! emoticon Maybe there are some articles on here or on the web that can give you some ideas about what exercises are safe to do while you're healing. Good luck!

take it easy on yourself - concentrate on that new baby, maybe do some easy stretching and ball stuff. Dont get so gung ho that you wear yourself out. Dont forget hormones, surgery, and breastfeeding all take a lot out of you, and hey work and home on top.
Maybe some meditation, relaxation and as i said go easy exercises. HUGS and enjoy that baby cos like they all say - time goes fast - they arent babies for long.
