I decided to do couch to 5k again. I just finished Week 2, Day 1 this morning. This time, I'm going to do every single week, and take off a day or two between runs. I think I burned out last time because I ran a 5k in Week 6. LOL, I can be so stubborn! This time, I think I have it planned correctly. I'm hoping to run a 5k on May 9, which is just about at the end of the 9 weeks. If I do end up taking time off between runs, I will just plan to walk and run (last time, I made myself run the entire thing!). The summer is coming, so I'll plenty of time for more 5ks and fun runs. Besides, I want to do this correctly so that this time I will keep training after the C25K program ends... perhaps one hour runner! I want to get to the point where I am ready to train for a triathlon or half marathon...or walk/run a marathon. I remember that having 6 months of running under your belt is suggested before you attempt the big dogs. So, here's to month 1 :)
