More HFCS Ranting

My husband and I went to the City (Des Moines) today to get some work done on our car. Afterwards we went to Dave's barbecue to eat. They had a big sign on the wall saying their variety of bbq sauce recipes were handed down through generations. I didn't eat any sauce. But as we were leaving I checked out the bottles of sauce they sell, thinking it would be nice to have some at home. Number one ingredient is water, number two is High Fructose Corn Syrup. Now, how did THAT recipe get handed down from generations before? There are some brands of bbq sauce that don't have HFCS but I have yet to find a restaurant brand that doesn't have it.
