I have lost about 5 lbs (tomorrow is weigh day) and I feel pretty good about that. Slow but steady. No racing to the finish this time!
I am avoiding sugar and refined flour, in order to control my cravings for the same, and it seems to be working! Also, my taste buds are regaining sensitivity after being 4 weeks without sugar (with the exception of my planned indulgence of chocolate cake on Valentine's Day). It's nice to appreciate the subtleties of food once again.
