Another pound GONE! That just proves that if I eat right and exercise everyday I will see results. It may not always be in a decrease in weight because I am building muscle as I lose fat and muscle weighs more than fat. It could be that I have a decrease in my waist, hips, thighs, etc..but the weight stays the same. Most importantly it will show up in the way I feel as it did last year.
My goal each day is to eat whole grains, fruits, vegetables, lean meats, and fish. I aim to within the calorie, carbs, fats, and protein guideline numbers. My exercise goal each day is to walk for at least 60 minutes, complete at least 20 minutes on the elliptical, and do strength exercises so that I burn at least 500 calories each day.
I need to thank Siegrid for her support and encouragement. It is like I have my own personal cheerleader pulling for me. She never gave up on me and I do so appreciate her. She is an inspiration to not only me but other members. Just knowing that she has met her goal weight makes me know that I can reach mine.
I am so happy that my sister, LINDAKM, joined yesterday. She is an inspiration to me in just how she has lived and is living her life. She became a grandmother on November 19th for the first time. She now has a beautiful granddaughter to spoil and she is enjoying every minute of it.
I'm off to fix my dinner!
