Trying this out...

Tuesday, December 02, 2008

So I realize that I can't lose weight if I don't increase my calories each day. Okay so I don't only have to increase my calories but I can not eat empty calories. ARRRRRRRHHHHHH I am an undereater and having a difficult time eating up to my minimum calories per day! Since I am so bad about comsuming my minimum calories per day I have added in meal supplements (slim fast shakes). I have used these before and was successful. I am going to stock up on veggies for snacks and hopefully these adjustments will help. I have cut down on my exercise because I was literally draining myself. I got away from SP for a few months due to busy season at work (tax season for everyone who extended their returns). Now that the holidays are upon me I need to do something to get on track and stay on track! I need to lose these extra pounds. I have gone down some since I started and I am VERY proud of myself for that. I need to refocus and get my butt back on track!

I'm one of those who extended! emoticon

I undereat, also, and supplement with lots of veggies between meals-celery & carrots-but still don't generally meet my minimum. I like SlimFast, tho.

    Good luck to you!

Good for you ~ stocking up on veggies for snacks! I am also an under-eater...but finding that it's more filling to eat an apple than drink 6 ounces of apple juice. I prefer eating protein rather than 'drinking' meal supplements ~ more filling for me, but you have to do what works for yourself!

Eating smaller portioned meals 5 to 6 times a day has helped increase my daily food allowance almost to the correct range. But it feels like I'm eating all the time! lol

But like you said ~ you gotta do what works for you! And you are SO worth the healthy journey!!!
